DONG Energy is holding a recruitment day for its new facility, REnescience Northwich on Tuesday 20th September.
The facility – currently under construction – has a range of job opportunities on offer, including shift operators and mechanical technicians at various grades. Training will be provided for many of the roles.
Members of the project team will be on hand at the event to meet the public, explain the recruitmentt process and answer questions about job opportunities.
The REnescience Plant Northwich is a new waste treatment facility, which will separate household waste from recyclable materials and generate energy at the same time. The plant, which is being constructed by DONG Energy, will use DONG Energy's patented REnescience technology and will be the first full-scale bio plant in the world capable of handling household waste through enzymes, mechanical sorting and anaerobic digestion.
Flemming Kanstrup, DONG Energy, said:
"REnescience Northwich will be the world's first commercial full-scale plant to use this new technology – we know that this is generating interest among the local community and the wider area.
"As the new plant begins to take shape, we have a range of job opportunities at the plant. We're looking for enthusiastic, committed people to fill roles across the facility – come and talk to our project team and find out more.
Construction on the new bio resource facility began in April this year and the site expects to be operational by April 2017.
The recruitment day will be held at Hartford Hall, 81 School Lane, Hartford from 14:30-20:00, on Tuesday 20th September.
