Following extensive surveys and stakeholder engagement, three potential development areas have been identified within the Irish Sea Zone.
Rhiannon Wind Farm is the first project to be brought forward. At it's closest point Rhiannon would be located approximately 19km from Anglesey, 34km from the Isle of Man and 60km from the Cumbrian coast.

North East area
Celtic Array identified a potential development area in the north east of the Irish Sea Zone. Our current strategy is to consider development in the three potential development areas in sequence and that development in the north east will be the second area to be considered for potential consent. We are in the very early stages of this process.
South West area
We believe that there is potential to develop an offshore wind farm in the south west potential development area. However, we are currently concentrating our efforts on progressing Rhiannon Wind Farm, and examining the potential for development in the north east area.
