DONG Energy in the UK
DONG Energy has been operating in the UK since 2001, when we were awarded three oil and gas exploration licences. As the business continues to develop, the UK based team is expected to expand over the years to come.
There are two distinct strands to our activities in the UK – Exploration and Production (E&P) and Power.
DONG E&P UK

The focus of our Exploration and Production (E&P) business in the UK is the West of Shetland region where E&P have an interest in the six largest discoveries made in recent years. E&P have ambitions to further strengthen our position in the region by continuing to drill exploration wells and creating opportunities to bring discoveries on stream as quickly as possible.
